Washington, D.C. — Today, at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly greeted veterans from Southern Indiana and Kentucky and thanked them for their service. A total of 180 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans visited Washington as part of this Bluegrass Honor Flight Network trip.

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s military heroes by sponsoring veterans’ trips to Washington, D.C., where they can visit and reflect at their memorials.
