Donnelly Welcomes WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War Veterans Back to Lafayette Following Their Honor Flight to D.C.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Last night, at the Purdue University Airport in West Lafayette, U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly welcomed veterans from the Lafayette area as they returned from their Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., and thanked them for their service. More than 80 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans visited Washington as part of this Lafayette Honor Flight Network trip.

The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s military heroes by sponsoring veterans’ trips to Washington, D.C., where they can visit and reflect at their memorials.
