Donnelly Visits Scott Farms in Pierceton to Learn About Conservation Efforts
Pierceton, Ind.—Senator Joe Donnelly toured a 2-stage ditch practice and a cover crop field in Pierceton this week. He was joined by members of the Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Nature Conservancy. Jamie Scott and Scott Farms have incorporated a number of conservation practices into the family operation. University of Notre Dame staff joined the group to share some preliminary research showing impacts of these practices on water quality.
