At 16 Back-A-Backpack on Saturday morning, Sen. Joe Donnelly helped organize donations and pack up backpacks with school supplies for kids.

While he was here, he spoke to NewsCenter 16 about the recent votes on health care proposals in the Senate. After the recent efforts by Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare, he said he's now hoping for a bipartisan approach to any further changes to the current system.

Donnelly also mentioned that he's already met with a group of Democrats and Republicans to come up with a new bill that works.
